Children’s Gift Guide

I have 3 boys: 1, 4, and 7 so these are some presents that fit their ages. Hope this helps!

1. Boogie board: It’s not what it sounds like but one of our favorite toys for any age! Someone at church told us about these and our kids can’t put them down. I love that it doesn’t make noise and it’s creative and not electronic!

2. Kiwi crate: Why not give a gift that keeps on giving. My kids favorite gift everyone month is this fun box that comes with some education craft that the children get to make.

3. Bitsbox: This is my next purchase for sure, teaching kids to code

4. Plus plus: These come in two sizes, perfect for any age. My kids love building and this gives them a spatial way to build (that I’m terrible at).

5. MagnaTiles: Our very favorite building product (besides Legos of course), make sure to buy a bigger box, because I promise you will want more.

6. Magazine subscription: we are going with this one this year but the kids look forward to something in the mail. We are also getting our kids tickets to an upcoming event in San Antonio (we did racecar tickets one year and it was awesome!)

7. Magic tracks: we keep adding onto this track because it can go anywhere and actually pull off some crazy angles!

8. Play Coach Football: See my post http://www.prescribeddesign.com/?p=1995. I even have a 30% code for you, just enter LEILA at checkout at PlayCoach.com. A basketball would be a great option too, this one is our favorite.

9. Scooters: love that these fold up and have bigger wheels for a little bit of off roading.

10. Headlamps: I know this sounds silly but the kids have love this! Perfect for night hikes or bike rides. Our kids even used them to climb a tree at night the other day!

*Buy this Elves at Play if you run out of ideas like me, it has all sorts of additions and ideas to make it easier. Lego advent calendar: It might be too late to snag this but this is always a big hit at our house. They even had a Star Wars Lego one we got for Kai! We also have done 12 days of books right before Christmas and that might be my favorite!

  • I read on Instagram that you were open to gift ideas for little boys. I am the creator of My Sibling and My Pal 18 inch boy dolls, which are outfitted and packaged by adults with disabilities in a local sheltered workshop. The clothing and booklets are designed and made by us in the USA.
